Why 40?

“I chose to further my education and pursue my basketball dreams at Harvard University not looking at this decision through the lens of a 4 year commitment. Instead, I made this decision with the next 40 years in mind. Did I have my next 40 years mapped out at 17 years old? Absolutely not. Rather, I valued my parents preaching of education first and I understood the value of preparing for life beyond basketball. I wanted to take advantage of this ball and the opportunities it would grant me, not let it take advantage of me.”
